BRANTFORD, ONT – Titans defenceman Patrick Babin has been named to the 2024-2025 GOJHL All-Rookie team. The Brantford Bulldogs prospect excelled in his first season of junior hockey, collecting 6 goals and 28 assists for a total of 34 points in 39 games played. His 6 goals included 2 power play goals and 1 shorthanded goal.
Babin played alongside Titans captain Jack Pancoe all season long on the top defence pairing and was the quarterback for the top power play unit for the Titans. Babin set a new franchise record for assists in a single season, passing Curtis Anderson who recorded 27 assists in the 2018-2019 season. He also tied the franchise record for game winning goals by a defenceman with 3.
Patrick also made an impact playing in the GOJHL Top Prospects Games in Elmira where he was named team MVP, and was a participant with Team GOJHL at the St. Andrew’s College MacPherson Tournament.
He continued to light up the scoresheet in the postseason, recording 2 goals and 7 assists in 7 games against the Ayr Centennials, helping his club pick up the series victory.
