BRANTFORD, ONT – Titans forward Ethan Szabo has been named to the GOJHL All-Star team for the 2024-2025 season. The 2004 born forward put on a show in his final junior season, leading the team in points with 69. Those 69 points included 32 goals and 37 assists. He scored 8 power play goals and 5 shorthanded goals.
Szabo rewrote the record books numerous times throughout the season. His 69 points are a new single season franchise record. The new record of 37 passed Guy Polillo and Jack Gaffney’s previous total of 36. He also tied the record for game winning goals in a season (4), assists in a single game (4) on January 11th against Ayr, and has scored the quickest goal to win a game in overtime (20 seconds) in franchise history with his winner back on February 17th in Cambridge.
The production carried over to the first round against the Ayr Centennials as Szabo collected a total of 8 points in 7 games. He scored 4 goals, including the overtime winner in game 2 and added 4 assists.
